As an Indian Executive Chef in Washington DC you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the preparation of high-quality Indian cuisine in a fast-paced upscale restaurant setting Your expertise in traditional Indian cooking techniques and familiarity with regional flavors and ingredients will be essential to the success of the restaurant You will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen staff maintaining inventory and food costs and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Key Responsibilities Plan coordinate and oversee the preparation of traditional Indian dishes Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality Create new menu items and update existing ones to keep up with current food trends Ensure timely delivery of food orders while maintaining quality and consistency Monitor inventory levels order supplies as needed and control food costs Maintain a safe clean and organized kitchen environment at all times Adhere to all health and safety regulations Collaborate with management on budgeting cost control and menu planning Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cooking methods spices and ingredients Strong leadership skills with the ability to train motivate and manage kitchen staff Creative flair for developing new dishes while maintaining authenticity in flavor profiles Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Must hold valid work authorizationvisa for employment in the United States Salary $1500 per month may vary based on experience Location Washington DC no accommodation provided Employment Type Full-time Education Level High school diploma or equivalent required culinary degree preferred Experience Level Minimum 2 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an Indian restaurant Language Requirement Fluent in English Other Requirements Must have valid work authorizationvisa and be able to work legally in the United States Students with relevant culinary experience are welcome to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr FutureTech
